At just 18, he was the youngest qualified distiller in South Africa—top of his class, backed by a Comprehensive Distillers Course, and proving that when you love what you do, it’s never just work. For Jedd, distilling isn’t a job; it’s a calling.
But his craft doesn’t stop at spirits. As head mixologist, Jedd creates the cocktails that bring Drysdale’s products to life in new, exciting ways. His creativity continues to flow beyond the bottle, with his own sketches bringing every story to life on the very labels of Drysdale’s signature creations.

Drysdales is based in Modderfontein, Johannesburg, a historic gem dating back to 1894. Originally built to support the gold mining industry and home to the Modderfontein Dynamite Factory, the village attracted European settlers who shaped its unique cultural identity. Today, Modderfontein has beautifully preserved its industrial past while embracing modern charm.
